After serving our food we did not see him till we were finished. It really didn't bother me but it does bother me when a worker complains to a customer about the business he works at. Didn't help our experience when he first came to the table & complained about the way the table was set up. Maybe a bad day or long day but he just went through the motions. The location at 13 Mile & Van Dyke, which I just ate at a month ago, always serves perfect Det Style Pizza - thick, cheese out to the edge & high on the edge, crunchy, & blackened on the outside edges.Īlso, our server was not the best either. I know what Detroit Style Pizza is & what we had last night was way off. I've eaten at the original Buddy's in Detroit & the 13 Mile & Van Dyke location for almost 50 years. Might be okay pizza, but don't try to pass it off as Detroit Style Pizza with a high price for lower quality pizza. Someone in the kitchen or the Manager is. Pizza was flat, large areas of just crust 1&1/2 inches wide from the edge on two slices, outside edges not blackened. Pizza was not even close to "Detroit Style Pizza". ![]() Visited this location last night for dinner.
